KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION EXPECTATIONS

The purpose of this study is to investigate the post-transplant goals of University of Michigan-based kidney transplant team providers and kidney transplant recipients to determine whether the goals of the two populations align. 

This study has the potential to reveal inconsistencies between the goals of kidney transplant providers and recipients, and amongst recipients and providers. If such inconsistencies exist, the results could serve as a basis for discussion among providers and recipients so that the two parties can better align post-transplant care goals. Such an alignment may increase patient and provider satisfaction and improve patient care.
